Police searching for a mother-of-six missing since before Christmas have turned their attention to a home and mine shafts close to her last known whereabouts.
Trisha Graf was last seen driving along Dunstan Drive in Andamooka, 600km north of Adelaide, shortly after 2am on Friday, December 12 last year.
Her disappearance sparked widespread police searches with members of her family fearing something “really bad” had happened to the 41-year-old.
On Monday, police in South Australia confirmed searches had resumed in the town, more than two months on from her disappearance.
Officers will be searching a residential property in the town along with several mine shafts close by.
Ms Graf’s disappearance in December was declared a major crime investigation in January, with South Australian police urging anybody with information to come forward.
At 12.19am on Friday, December 12, she was seen to leave to Roxby Downs hotel with a friend, driving a white 2012 Ford Territory, SA registration S254 BCX.
A short distance from the hotel she collided with a kangaroo, close to the Andamooka Township.
She then continued onto Andamooka, before leaving to return home at 2am. She was last seen driving along Dunstan Drive.
At about noon the same day, her partner and a friend discovered her car perched on a dirt mound near the Blue Dam, east of Andamooka – but could not moved.
Police initially conducted searches of the surrounding area, as well as inside the dam, but thus far Ms Graf has not been located.
Officers have since gone on to carry out investigations further afield, including aerial searches, before returning to the mining town on Monday.
